No yelling as it has already happened. Sorry to hear about the denial and congrats on all the approvals.  Don't apply for cards because everyone is talking about them.  Apply for cards that fit your spending habits.  That being said, that was quite a spree and it is a good time to stop.

The new cards will decrease your AAoA and increase your inquiry counts.  So set the expection of scores decreasing...

I agree!

Thank you for your reply Yes-Its-Me!

Actually, I like all the cards I applied for except for the Stash Visa which seems to have limited hotels and an annual fee of $85 after the first year.

I really wanted the Ebates visa, and Blispay program is fantastic and I live in Southern California so, I will use the Marvel card at Disneyland and themes parks and even Comic book shops! It felt good to get approved 5 out of 5! Until I got declined with Comenity-that I don't have any accounts with! Time to stop!

Credit One charges fees and the only reward is gas stations. Capital One can be upgraded to Quicksilver and there's no fees.

How did this turn out for you? Do you get the decision reversed?

I couldn't change my address via the online dispute. I actually had to mail in my address change but I did get it updated. I wasn't able to successfully recon the denial. They stated I had to reapply once I updated the address so it was a wasted hard pull. I'll apply again in a couple of months. I was approved for 3 new cards sinCe this happened so I'm no longer as anxious to get this one.

Thanks so much for your help NERD .Smiley Wink

Sorry this happened, Designer91. I'm sure you are disappointed. Stay firm in the garden and grow your current lines and you will do well.

Comenity is not worth it. They SP me a good amount and I'll be glad to be rid of their two Visas next year. They're just unpredictable and unprofessional.

Someone posted an article a while back that Comenity (formerly called WFNB) was rejecting people with 800 FICO scores for Gander Mountain credit cards because Comenity thought their credit was too "good." This is a lender that just doesn't make any sense.

Another thing that helps when you garden strong and then have a misstep is to ask yourself why it happened, and think of steps you can take to ensure it doesn't happen again. Hope this helps a bit. Smiley Happy

Sorry for the denial but you are building a nice profile and keep your eye on the end goal. Smiley Happy

The timer starts on the day your account was opened. Call Chase and have them expidite your card to you. They'll send it to you in a few days via UPS vs a couple weeks via USPS.

EDIT to clarify. The timer starts on the day you were approved, Chase is very quick at opening your account and making it active. Once I recieved my approval for my CSP I immediately logged into my chase accounts page (I have other cards and checking with them) and the card was already listed. It took no longer than about 10-15 seconds for the account to show up.

credit one offered no enrollment fee, no over limit fee, 1% cash back on gas and groceries, there is a annual fee, cash advance fee $5 or 8%, 19.90 APR. Is that horrible? I am seriously asking because I dont know.

Also what would be the benefit of switching to cap1 quick silver? I asked a rep about it today and she basically made it seem like nothing. I was confused by that

Thank you Humu, your feedback is always very valuable to me. I'm mad because all 3 Fico scores were above 720 with Experian dropped from 735 to 729 after the addition of 4, but now because of the only inquiry I have on Equifax in the past year it dropped to 717! I wonder how long it would take to recover from the loss of 6 points. Surprisingly, the scores didn't change much from the addition of 4 new accounts ( Tu 722 down to 721, EQ 724 down to 723). Blispay still is not showing up as a new account yet.

Used to be Card Match was nothing but marketing, similar to Credit Karma. Checked them yesterday, and out of the 19 cards, five were pre qualified including single interest rate and the opt out notice. All five were Cap One, though.

Funny thing is CK has some pre-qual offers now from Chase and Amex.  They don't offer any pre-qual's to me, but I have seen other posts where they seem to be solid.   I just get the "recommended" offers for credit cards I already have.

Do the 61 day rule only apply to specifically the card that is new?

I got approved for both a Delta Gold and SPG on the same day in March. I would guess this means that later on this month, I would have to pick one of those specifically?

My wife got a CLI of $10k last week on her SPG but just got a BCP today. Does that mean she will have to wait 61 days for the BCP or 180 days from the CLI she got last week for the BCP?
